Such complaints put a question mark on the credibility and effectiveness of EVMs, PCC chief Kantilal Bhuria said Wednesday. Complaints suggest there was tampering of EVMs at many places,Bhuria alleged. ENS

Voting by Brus still upsets Mizoram CM

Aizawal: Mizorams outgoing chief minister Lal Thanhawla has expressed his disagreement with the Election Commissions decision giving postal voting rights to 11,000 Brus from camps in Tripura. Demand for another postal ballot

Aizawal: The Mizoram Democratic Alliance has asked the Election Commission to arrange for a postal ballot for Mizo personnel of the 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion posted in Assam. The state election directorate had earlier said these personnel couldnt vote as they were neither service voters nor on election duty. ENS
