Sun Apollo invests Rs 100 crore in Parsvnath project

NEW DELHI: Private equity investments continue to trickle into project or SPV level in the realty space. Sun Apollo India Real Estate Fund LLC,a 630-million India-dedicated real estate private equity fund,has invested Rs 100 crore in a residential project SPV led by Parsvnath Developers Limited PDL. SUN-Apollo will invest Rs 100 crore for a 49.9 per cent stake in the project SPV,Parsvnath Buildwell Private Limited,which will develop a premium residential project at Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh,spread over 31 acres.

NEW DELHI: The Kailash Nath Group has recently launched Kailash Nath Town Houses to redevelop residential plots in prime colonies of Delhi like Jor Bagh,Defence Colony,Malcha Marg,Vasant Vihar,Greater Kailash and Friends Colony into self-contained apartments. The scalability for each Town House at present is between 300-1,500 sq yd and the group plans to undertake 25-30 such projects in a year. The construction costs varies between Rs 2,000-3,500 per sq ft.

NEW DELHI: Mumbai and New Delhi have emerged among the top five real estate investment destinations in the Asia Pacific Region,according to a recent study by PricewaterhouseCoopers India PwC and the Urban Land Institute ULI. The fifth Asia Pacific edition of annual investor survey Emerging Trends in Real Estate is based on the opinions of more than 280 international real estate professionals.
