London: An Indian engineering student from University of Nottingham fought off stiff worldwide competition to be awarded the overall prize at a British government-backed entrepreneurial contest. Ohio names alternative lethal injection drug

columbus: Ohio prison officials Friday said they were keeping their primary lethal injection drug in place despite the states supply expiring,but have added a second drug option for executioners to address the shortage. Pentobarbital will remain Ohios primary method of administering the death penalty. But a combination of midazolam and hydromorphone will be an alternative if sufficient pentobarbital isn8217;t available. PTI

Indian men sentenced for fraud in New Zealand

Melbourne: Two Indian-origin men have been sentenced by a New Zealand court for defrauding a city council in Aukland of more than 676,855 over a decade. Hemant Kumar Maharaj and Suresh Din were sentenced after they appeared in the Auckland District Court Thursday. PTi
