Nava Bharat to buy 65 pc in Zambia co

MUMBAI: Nava Bharat Ventures on Monday said the company,through its Singapore-based arm,would acquire 65 per cent stake in Zambia-based Maamba Collieries for 26 million about Rs 121 crore. Nava Bharat Singapore Pte Ltd,a unit of the company,has signed a share sale and purchase agreement with the Zambian government for acquiring 65 per cent stake in Maamba Collieries Ltd.

TRIL to launch project in Chennai

CHENNAI: Tata Realty and Infrastructure,a subsidiary of Tata Sons,on Monday announced their Rs 3,500 crore commercial and residential project,Ramanujan IT City,at Taramani in the city. The project envisages developing a premium residential community Cambridge Greens,is expected to be ready for occupancy by mid-2011.

3G auction on Jan 14 for 4 private players

NEW DELHI: The government on Monday said auction for 3G mobile spectrum would commence as per schedule from January 14 next year and allotment would be made to four private players simultaneously by August. The EGoM has decided to auction 3G spectrum for four slots as per original schedule, telecom minister A Raja said.
