Minor apprehended for recording videos in women’s washroom at Bengaluru theatre; another boy detained for inquiry

(Source: Pexels) The Madiwala police in Bengaluru apprehended a minor on Sunday night for allegedly recording videos inside the women’s washroom at Sandhya Cinema Theatre, located within the police station’s limits. Another minor was also taken into custody for inquiry in connection with the incident, officers said.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 9.30 pm. The police said the boy, whose age was not specified, was allegedly found recording videos in the washroom, following which he was surrounded by women.
Officers from the station and from a Hoysala patrol team rushed to the theatre after receiving an alert through the ‘Namma 112’ emergency service about a disturbance on the premises. The police soon removed the boy from amid the crowd and took him to the station.
