Pongal special trains 2026 Tamil Nadu: Indian Railways (IR) has announced the operation of special trains to ensure seamless connectivity during the Pongal festival. These special trains will help the passengers travel home and back with ease during peak demand. The Pongal is a four-day Hindu harvest festival, mainly celebrated in the southern states of India, especially in Tamil Nadu.
