Five more cases tested positive for H1N1 virus on Thursday,taking the total number of swine flu cases to 78. While one case each has been reported from Pune,Kolkata and Delhi,two cases have been detected in Gurgaon.

The case from Pune is that of a 29-year-old man who travelled from San Francisco via Hong Kong and reached Mumbai on June 24. The case in Kolkata is that of a seven-year-old girl who travelled from Melbourne via Bangkok and reached Kolkata on June 23. She was detected at the airport screening facility. Of the two cases in Gurgaon,one is a 19-year-old male who went from Minnesota to London,stayed there for 10 days,and reached Delhi on June 21. The other Gurgaon case is a 10-year-old girl who reached New Delhi from New York on June 19. In Delhi,a six-year-old girl who travelled from Miami to Delhi via Frankfurt on June 18 has been affected. Both her parents have already tested positive.

According to the ministry officials,78 persons have tested positive so far.
