Vinod Kumar claims title

NEW DELHI, November 1: Vinod Kumar of B.R. Ambedkar College claimed gold in the first Nike-St Stephen8217;s 3.2 km run that began from the St Stephen8217;s College premises. Vinod was timed 10:01 for his gold along with a gift voucher of Rs 1,500 while the silver went to Rajpal of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. He clocked 10:10 minutes.

The third spot was claimed by Kulvinder Singh of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. Those who finished fourth and up to 10th position earned a gift voucher from Nike worth Rs 500 while for the runners between 11th and 20th positions got merit certificates.

The second race is scheduled for November 19th and all college students from Delhi are eligible to participate in the event, which will be a monthly affair.
