MUMBAI, February 4: Lucknow8217;s Vijay Kumar raced further into the lead in the Mahindra Golf Rankings for the Mahindra Golfer of the Year award, worth Rs 12 lakhs.

He now leads nearest rival, Ali Sher Delhi by more than 50 points after coming second in the Mahindra Invitational which concluded on December 21. He now has a total of 188 points, with his season8217;s earnings standing at Rs 6.15 lakhs.
