On February 10, Akali Dal Waris Punjab De will hold a massive protest march against the “illegal” imposition of NSA on Amritpal Singh Khalsa and to press for the release of Sikh prisoners

Social activist turned politician Lakha Sidhana joined Akali Dal Waris Punjab De during the party rally at Muktsar Sahib on Wednesday.
MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali also surprised many by attending the rally though he is part of Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit).

A gathering at the rally announced that on February 25, a “Bandi Chhor Khalsa Vahir (procession)” will be taken out from Akal Takht Sahib to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Sabo Ki Talwandi.

“This procession will be held to strengthen the principles of Gurmat, Panthic unity, and the spirit of welfare of all (Sarbat da Bhala). Walking on the path shown by the Gurus, this vihar will give the message of protecting truth, justice and righteousness, and will become the voice to save the Panth and Punjab from injustice, oppression and social evils,” said Tarsem Singh, father of Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh.

On this occasion, it was announced that on February 10, Akali Dal Waris Punjab De will hold a massive protest march against the “illegal” imposition of NSA on Amritpal Singh Khalsa and to press for the release of Sikh prisoners.
