Activists of the Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals caught an adult male langur that had been creating terror in and around Gotri and had bitten at least two dozen people over the past few days. Activist Snehal Bhatt said of Sunday evening8217;s catch at Brahmbhatt Falia, 8220;Bharat Mali, Rupesh Monto and I lured the animal into a cage with mirrors and bananas. It will be handed over to the forest department for releasing into the notified forest area on Monday8221;.

Pension adalat
The Department of Posts will organise a Pension Adalat here on July 9 for postal pensioners. According to an official spokesman, grievances, if any, could be sent in writing to accounts officer I G Vohra at the Postmaster-General, Vadodara Region office, Vadodara 390002, by June 28.

6-day workshop

Appointed
N S Mishra has been appointed the General Manager Operations and Services at the Bank of Baroda head office in Vadodara. Mishra, a qualified banker, has worked in various capacities at the BoB, including at the international division in Mumbai and as Chief Executive European Operations at London.
