Bappi in town
Popular playback singer and music director Bappi Lahiri will arrive on a two-day visit to the city on Thursday. He will meet his fans and admirers at the Ajwa Fun World and Resort on Thursday between 7 and 9 pm and on Friday between noon and 3 pm.

Alumni meeting
A meeting of the alumni of the Baroda Medical College will be held on April 17 at Baroda Nursing Home at 4 pm to work out details of world conference to be organised by the college8217;s alumni association in December.

Phone lines
The telephone lines which have been affected due to the road widening scheme of the VMC in Sama will take two-three days to be restored, G M Telecom, Rakesh Babu said here on Wednesday. Meanwhile, city engineer P K Desai said that the VMC had received a complaint about cables being damaged.
