Two more held for killing builder

VADODARA, SEPT 12: The police on Sunday arrested two more persons involved in the recent brutal murder of city-based builder Naveen Patel over the issue of an affair with a young girl, taking the total number of persons arrested upto nine. All nine have been sent to Baroda Central Jail.

Meanwhile, the girl, who reportedly had an affair with her neighbour Jignesh Tamboli, before falling in love with the builder, denied any relationship with either. In a statement to the police on Saturday, she said: 8220;I never had any intimate relationship with either Jignesh or Patel as is being made out by Jignesh.8221;She, however, said she went to movies with Jignesh on a couple of occasions. 8220;Jignesh also made a marriage proposal, but I declined it,quot; she told the police, adding that 8220;his love was a unilateral one.8221;
