Twenty two year old commits suicide

CHANDIGARH, Feb 5: A 22-year-old man reportedly committed suicide this evening by consuming some poisonous substance in Dhanas village.

According to police sources, Surjit Singh8217;s body was found near the stream of a river in Dhanas village around 5 p.m. He allegedly died after consuming some pesticide.

Police said they were investigating the matter to ascertain the cause of the suicide.8217; They have, however, ruled out any foul play. Surjit, a newspaper vendor, lived with his sister.
