CHANDIGARH, Nov 29: Three persons, including a nurse at the PGI, died in separate incidents in the City in the past 24 hours.

Gurbir Kaur Brar, a staff nurse posted at the intensive care unit of the PGI, reportedly committed suicide by injecting a poisonous substance. Police sources said that the body of the victim, a resident of the Nivedita Hostel in PGI, was discovered late last night. The exact cause is not known, it was added.

Rajinder Kumar, a resident of Sector 20, died last night when his scooter reportedly skid after hitting a rock on the road dividing Sector 27 and 28. Police sources said that the sccoterist sustained a head injury that could have caused his death.

Meanwhile Singia Rawal, a resident of the Sector 31 Labour Colony, was admitted to the GMC hospital in Sector 32, when he sustained burns in an quot;accidental8221; stove burst. Rawal died at the hospital.
