He says the NDA encourages mass defections. The Bhajan Lal ministry shifted lock stock and barrel to the Congress. The entire Congress legislature party joined the RJD ministry in 2000 8212; not 8216;8216;mass8217;8217; enough perhaps! He says the NDA uses abusive language against constitutional functionaries. Does anyone remember K.K. Tiwary who suggested that the president8217;s house is a sanctuary of terrorism. Or Laloo, on the EC. The Congress set the rules of the game and now that the others have learnt the same is busy shifting the goal post.

8226; Kapil Sibal has not cited a single provision of the Constitution which supports his government8217;s action. The obvious reason is that what was done is unconstitutional. I would like to ask Sibal as to what was the purpose of keeping the assembly under suspended animation? Wasn8217;t it to allow realignment of political forces? Had the LJP MLAs been supporting RJD instead, would UPA have dissolved the assembly? Also, what was the urgency to dissolve the assembly that a decision was taken after midnight?
