Tendulkar denies reports

The batting maestro, who was forced to skip a tie in the just ended one-day triangular tournament in Sri Lanka and was visibily in severe pain making a century against the hosts in the final league tie, said he had not made any decision to travel to Australia to meet a specialist suggested by Aussie spinner Shane Warne.

8220;I have not made any plan as yet on taking any treatment in Australia,8221; Tendulkar said when asked whether he planned to travel Down Under in the near future to consult the doctor recommended by Warne.

Asked to comment on reports that he was unlikely toappear in Toronto and whether he planned to skip the three-match series against West Indies in the Canadian city, Tendulkar said he had no such idea at this moment.

8220;I don8217;t think I ever spoke to Mr Dungarpur about not going to Toronto,8221; Tendulkar said when asked to react to the report.

Meanwhile, stylish batsman Rahul Dravid, who received the Arjuna Award and left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi 8212; replacement for rested paceman Javagal Srinath 8212; joined the team today.

The team, woefully short of fitness, went through a lengthy session of fielding and will have another long session tomorrow morning ahead of their opening tie in the Singapore challenge tournament against Zimbabwe on Septmeber 4.
