ROHTAK, June 9: The teachers of Maharshi Dayanand University will sit on dharna, on June 11, in front of the Vice-Chancellor's office in protest against the dictatorial attitude of the Vice-Chancellor towards the demands and grievances of the teachers.President of the MDU Teacher's Association Wazir Nehra said that teachers were pained at the intolerant and undignified attitude of the Vice-Chancellor which was hurting the rights liberties of the teachers.It may be recalled that the meeting of executive council is also slated for June 11 .The demands of the teachers include immediate election of teachers' representatives for executive council, no arbitrary changes in the basic structure of the university through closures, the hindrances in development of P.G. Regional Centre, total service benefit and adequate trained staffand regular health care facilities in the university health centre.
