Teachers honoured

CHANDIGARH, Oct 11: Nearly 90 teachers were honoured by the National Forum for Educational Research and Development at a function organised at the Panjab University, here today.

Shawls and mementos, were presented to three former Vice Chancellors, R P Bambah, M. L. Lakhanpal and G. S. Randhawa. National school teacher awardees, Fellows of National Academy, and trade union activists were also honoured at the function, presided over by Panjab University Vice Chancellor M. M. Puri. President of the forum, G. K. Chatrath said that a special function to honour law teachers, lawyers and distinguished personalities from different fields will be organised shortly.
