Swapna Sundari enthralls

PANCHKULA, Oct 17: It was an evening to remember for all those who turned up to watch the Kuchipudi dance performance by Swapna Sundari, the famous danseuse who is the top most classical dancer and a leading soloist of Kuchipudi dance style.

Swapna Sundari presented six dance performances based on the theme of Shiv and Parvati and the Satsang Bhawan in Mansa Devi was packed to capacity. She was accompanied by Pravir Dutta who performed the quot;Pandavquot; dance with her. She has been decorated with various awards, one of which is the quot;Parishad Sammanquot;. She has established her own organisation called the quot;Kuchipudi Dance Centrequot; in Delhi.

She also contributes articles to the Indian News Channels based on the various aspects of culture and is currently working on a book based on her research of quot;Valasini Natyamquot;.
