Stop appeasing Jaya: Mamata

CALCUTTA, AUG 21: Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee has once again renewed her tirade against the BJP leaders here today whom she described as 8220;busy appeasing AIADMK leader neglecting the more important national issues.8221;

Taking a dig at AIADMK leader Jayalalitha, Banerjee said the BJP Government should leave this appeasing business and concentrate on important national issues. An angry Banerjee, who went on records urging the BJP to drop the AIADMK from the BJP-led coalition for last few days, said: 8220;No Government can function, 8220;if it neglects job in hand and goes out of the way to appease one single partner.8221;

She said the recent developments, which followed Jayalalitha8217;s allegations against the Prime Minister, have already done great damage to the coalition, and now the BJP leaders should immediately do something to stop it.
