Stalling talks playing into terror hands: Musharraf

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today said 8220;stalling8221; of the Indo-Pak peace process in reaction to the terror attacks in Mumbai and Srinagar 8220;tantamount8221; to playing into the hands of terrorists.

Reacting to the postponement of Foreign Secretary level talks in the wake of the attacks, Musharraf, speaking at a meeting of the National Security Council here, said: 8220;We must not allow such terrorist acts to undermine the historic opportunity for lasting peace between Pakistan and India.8221;

He said Pakistan would help with the probe into the attacks if India provided 8220;concrete information8221; instead of making 8220;unsubstantiated allegations8221;.
