BANGALORE, Jan 23: Classy Rahul Dravid and stylish left-hander S Ramesh of South Zone authored an easy six-wicket victory over Central Zone in the inter-zonal cricket league match for the Deodhar Trophy at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here today.

Rahul with an authoritative 67 96m, 102b, 5215;4, 1215;6 and Ramesh with a superlative innings of 89 and shared a third wicket partnership of 105 runs which helped South chase a modest total of 219 runs.

Put into bat the Central innings was built around the third wicket stand between Jai Prakash Yadav 48, 64b, 5215;4, 1215;6 and Sanjay Bangar 78: 123b, 7215;4.
