Small Scale Trade Board chief holds meeting with excise officials

Madan Lal Kapoor, chairman of Small Scale Industries Board, held a meeting with excise officials and industrialists at the Circuit House here today.

This was his first visit after he took over as chairman of the board. Kapoor asked the excise officials to solve the problems of industrialists on priority even as he urged them to work towards increasing the tax revenue. Vice-chairman of the trade board, Madan Lal Bagga was also present at the meeting, which lasted for about an hour. Industrialists raised issues like delay in VAT refund and C-form shortage at the meeting.
