Banking on TV

Consumer banking is undergoing a technological revolution. First there was telephone banking, then there was internet banking. Now the latest technology in use is for television banking.

In India telephone banking is fairly popular and internet banking has just made a beginning. But experts feel that TV banking is for the future. One of the banks offering this service in the US is Wells Fargo. There is a free demo on its site at wellsfargo.com which offers a glimpse of things to come. The equipment required for television banking is not much. One needs a set top WebTV terminal, a telephone line, a TV and a telephone line.This option is very good for those who want internet facilities without investing in a computer.
