Collage Group defeated DS Group by 31 runs to enter the final of the Meva Ram Garg cricket tournament. Put into bat, Collage scored 145 for eight in the allotted 30 overs with Sanjay Verma 33 and Ashish Sharma 30 being the top scorers. Collage then dismissed DS Group for 114 in 26 overs to win the match. Sanjay Verma was later declared man of the match.

Abhishek shine
An all-round performance by Abhishek Sharma and fine bowling by Sahil Arora helped Model School beat South Delhi Coaching Centre by an innings and 84 runs to move into the final of the Apollo Cup under-14 cricket tournament. South Delhi Coaching Centre were bundled out for 121 in 50.3 overs in the first innings. Kapil Bali 45 and Sumit Saini 30 were the main scorers for them. In the second innings, they were all out for 75.

Hansraj Model School scored 270 runs for 6 wickets in their first innings. The innings saw a brilliant knock of 96 runs by Abhishek Sharma while lalit Chaoudhary remained not out for 80.

Sarvodaya School Lajpat Nagar beat Meera Model School by 74 runs while DAV Quetta Nizamuddin defeated Hansraj Model School by four wickets in the Radha Kishan inter-school criket tournament.

Colts are the twelve teams participating in the JD Textiles cricket tournament for M.S. Trophy, beginning today at Yamuna Sports Complex Ground. HP College regained the under-19 title beating Daly Collgeg Indore while in the under-12 category, Yadvendra Public School Patiala beat Modern School Delhi.

CBSE football
Guru Harkishan Public School Vasant Vihar beat Ramjas Anand Parbat 3-0 in the CBSE cluster X football tournament. Harneet, Sunny and Lovepreet were the scorers. In other matches, Birla Niketan beat Gen Raj School 2-1 via tie-breaker and Vasant Valley beat Bharat National School 7-0. CSKM Sat Bari, Sahodaya Vidyalaya and Gyan Bharti School were given walk-overs.
