Blame it on the summer. But the long-haired, unruly, out-of-bed look has been replaced by a neat short crop this summer, with the likes of John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan getting rid of their tresses. Brad Pitt, of course, has long been seen sporting this look. nbsp;

8220;The Indian market is becoming more fashionable and a cropped hair cut gives a more stylish and sporty look,8221; says international hair stylist Christiaan Georgio of the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Not only is this look fuss-free and easy to manage, it is also a good way to beat the heat.nbsp;

The short crop looks best on a square face or on someone with a prominent jaw. 8220;A short cut lends roundness to angular features. It completely suits the Indian look and adds spunk to a silhouette,8221; says Georgio. The look is also a blessing for those with a receding hairline. 8220;Close-cropped hair is best for those who have weak hair roots. It makes them look younger,8221; says celebrity hair stylist Sumit Israni.
