Shingte emerges supreme

DECEMBER 8: Central Railway8217;s Pradeep Shingte of Sangli, with a timing of 1:47:28 secs, captured the top spot in the Dadar TT to Khopoli fourth Suman Motels-sponsored cycle race conducted by the Amateur Cycling Association of Bombay Suburban District, yesterday. The half-distance Panvel prime prize was bagged by Srinivas with a timing of 52min 52.2secs. Ramesh Deokar Pune finished second and Srinivas Bombay Suburban District was third.

Cycle race postponed: The Birla Gold cycle race, scheduled to be held from January 12 to 18, has been postponed. It will now be held at a future undisclosed date.
