The Sensex on Tuesday made further headway rising by another 47 points to end at new peaks of 7,552.77 on the back of foreign investments in equity coupled with shortcovering by operators.

Foreign Institutional Investors, which reported net investments of a hefty Rs 1,040.80 crore last Friday, were believed to be heavy buyers in several blue chip counters. 8212; PTI
