Dhurandhar worldwide box office collection day 48: Aditya Dhar’s period spy thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, has begun to slow down even further in its seventh week at the domestic box office. Two days before it faces its biggest threat yet in Anurag Singh’s period war drama Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, the film has clocked in its lowest single-day earnings yet. Dhurandhar has already earned Rs 883.80 crore in India and Rs 1339.80 crore worldwide.
Dhurandhar domestic box office
On Wednesday (day 48) at the domestic box office, Dhurandhar earned only Rs 1.15 crore, which is the least it’s earned on a single day ever since its release on December 5, 2025. Even till its fourth week, the Ranveer-starrer scored double digits every day, becoming the first Indian film ever to do so. Even on the eve of the end of its seventh week, it’s still floating above the Rs 1 crore mark.
In comparison, Vir Das and Kavi Shastri’s action comedy Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, which released this past Friday, could manage to earn only Rs 19 lakh on its first Thursday, as per Sacnilk. Dhurandhar has outlasted and dismantled even bigger films like Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday-starrer romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and Sriram Raghavan’s period war drama Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda and late Dharmendra, over the past four weeks.
However, now it’ll face fresh competition from another film cut from the same cloth. A sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster Border, the period war drama also starring Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, will release in cinemas this Friday on January 23. It’ll also enjoy an extended opening weekend, ending on the public holiday of Republic Day on Monday.
Dhurandhar witnessed a dip from its Tuesday (day 47) earnings of Rs 1.65 crore, benefitted by the discount offer on ticket prices (Rs 149) for only a day, as announced by the producer Jio Studios. That was a minor spike from its Monday (day 46) collection of Rs 1.50 crore, a dip from its seventh weekend earnings of Rs 3.75 crore on Sunday (day 45) and Rs 3 crore on Saturday (day 44) respectively.
Dhurandhar began its seventh week by earning Rs 1.75 crore on Friday (day 43). Prior to that, the film amassed Rs 26.35 crore in week 6, Rs 51.25 crore in week 5, Rs 106.50 crore in week 4, Rs 172 crore in week 3, Rs 253.25 crore in week 2, and Rs 207.25 crore in its opening week. It’s the only Indian film which earned more in its second week than its first at the domestic box office.
Dhurandhar worldwide box office
At the global box office, Dhurandhar has amassed Rs 1339.80 crore so far. It has a long way to go before it can challenge the third highest grossing Indian film ever worldwide — Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s 2024 Telugu action thriller Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 1742.10 crore). The top two spots in that list are held by SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ 2017 Telugu action fantasy epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1788.06 crore) and Nitesh Tiwari and Aamir Khan’s 2016 Bollywood family sports drama Dangal (Rs 2070.30 crore).
