PUNE, Feb 17: A young Shiv Sena worker, who went missing after he stepped out of his house at Balajinagar, Dhankawadi, with three friends two days ago, was found butchered at Dukkar Khind on Katraj-Dehu Road bypass late last night.

Thirtyeight-year-old Vinayak Keshav Kshirsagar left his residence at Zarad Chawl around 1 a.m. on Sunday and did not return.

According to family members, Kshirsagar was accompanied by Chhalya Pardeshi, Sanjay Kadam and Bharat Kakade.

The police were on the lookout for Kshirsagar since his younger brother Vinayak reported the incident to Sahakarnagar police on Monday morning.

Kshirsagar8217;s murder came to light only after his body was found at a secluded spot along the bypass around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Kothrud police after a tip off.

The body was sent to Sassoon Hospital for a post mortem. An inquest panchanama report, prepared before autopsy, mentioned that Kshirsagar bore several deep stab wounds.

Later in the night, Vinayak lodged a first information report FIR at Kothrud police station accusing Pardeshi, Kadam and Kakade of murdering his brother.

The FIR said Kshirsagar8217;s relations with the trio were strained after they had differences over some petty matters some months ago. The trio were angered over the suspicion that Kshirsagar was defaming them, it added. No arrests have been made so far.
