Rotaract School Fest from today

PANCHKULA, Nov 12: Rotaract Club, Panchkula, is holding Rotaract School Fest 98 from November 13 to 15 in the town. The competition will start with an athletics meet on November 13 at D.C. Model Senior Secondary School, the club8217;s president Pankaj Chandgothia has said. In a campaign against plastic carry bags, a competition which will involve carry bags made of paper or cloth, will be held on November 14 while the festival will conclude with a cultural competition and prize distribution at Yavanika.

Painting competition: In order to promote young artists and celebrate Children8217;s Day, a painting competition, Best out of Waste, and a talent contest is being organised at Amartex Textile Complex in Industrial Area, Panchkula. Besides the winner prizes, the Best School and the Best Teacher awards will also be given away.
