PALAKKAD, May 3: Fifteen-year-old Ramyashree of Karnataka, a 10th-standard student of Mysore, caused an upset in the first round by defeating sixth seed J E Kavitha of Tamil Nadu in the seventh National Junior under-18 Girls Chess Championship here today.
