Three killed in UP clashes
Lucknow: Sectarian clashes broke out in several Uttar Pradesh cities and curfew has been clamped in Lucknow. Three people were killed in the state. While Shias and Sunnis clashed in Lucknow, Moradabad and Azamgarh, communal clashes broke out in Rampur where 45 shops were gutted.

Chicken pox deaths
New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Government has investigated the deaths of six children in Chakarnagar block of Etawah district and said it was a case of chicken pox and not small pox. Officials said only one death has been confirmed.

Files destroyed
New Delhi: Thousands of files of the Union Home Ministry were destroyed when a fire broke out in Jaisalmer House near India Gate here today, fire brigade sources said.
