Saroop takes over at Telecom
Nirmal Saroop has taken over as principal general manager of Pune Telecom district from S Gopalkrishnan who has been transferred to Bangalore. Earlier, Saroop was heading the western telecom region with headquarters in Mumbai.

Kher couple felicitated
Arvind Kher, chief executive officer of Thermax Systems and Software, and Manusha Kher, senior manager of PCS, were given the Information Technology (IT) award of the year by the Pune chapter of Computer Society of India. Prof. S B Bhonde, chairman of Institution of Engineers presented the award.
