Hepatitis-B vaccine
Lions Club of Pune Megacity has decided to make available doses of Hepatitis-B vaccine at a concession. The vaccine doses, priced at Rs 500 and Rs 275 for elders and children respectively, have been made available at Rs 170 and Rs 85.

Three injections have to be administered to every person. The camp will be held on first and third Sunday every month at Dnyan Prabodhini Medical Trust8217;s Sanjeevan Hospital on Karve Road. His holiness Shrimath Sadyojat Shankarashram Swamiji, the 11th Mathadhipati head of the temple and spiritual head of the Chitrapur Saraswat community has arrived on a ten-day visit to the city. Devotional programmes, tableause on the Krishna leela theme, are being held at the Padale palace hall, off Karve road every evening. The programmes will continue till October 1.The visit assumes significance for city-based Chitrapur Saraswats as it is the first visit by their spiritual leader in almost 20 years. There are approximately 600 families of Chitrapur Saraswats in the city.
