CHANDIGARH, Oct 5: The third and the final day of the Panjab University Youth Festival was a feast in Indian dance forms. The morning session was presided over by Director Public Instruction College K.A.P. Sinha, while Adviser to the Administrator Vineeta Rai gave away the prizes.

The Advisor, encouraged the students to participate in cultural activities, saying it paid off in the long run.

In the classical category, Nancy Chhabra of GCG-11 was chosen the best dancer while Kavita of GCG, Sector 43, and Kamal of MCM DAV College danced their way to the second and third positions respectively.

Government College for Girls, Sector 11, were chosen as best performers in the group dance category, while Home Science College and College of Nursing were second and third respectively.

It was a hat trick by GCG-11, with Madhuri getting the first position in the individual prizes category, while Maninder of the College of Nursing stood second. The third position was won by Sushmita of Home Science College.

The quiz round completed the winning streak for GCG-11, with the college coming second, while MCM DAV College came first, and Government College for Girls, Sector 42, was third in this category.
