PUNE, July 10: Corum has released the Golden Anniversary watch to commemorate 50 years of India8217;s independence. This exquisite 18 carat gold watch has been completely assembled and finished by a specialised Swiss Master watchmaker. An image of the Taj Mahal is engraved on the solid gold dial while the Roman numerals are hand engraved on the gold vim of the dial. Even the back of the case has been hand engraved with the text and says : 8220;50th year of India8217;s Independence 1947-1997.8221;

Only 50 of these watches are available, and each has been ascribed a particular number which is engraved on a small plate fixed on the side of the case at 9 O8217;clock. The model is fitted with a self winding machine. Available exclusively at Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri, Mumbai, Johnson amp; Co. New Delhi, Doshi and Doshi, Chennai.
Price: Rs 4,15,000.00 inclusive of sales tax.
