Fans flooded Deepika Padukone’s friend’s Instagram post with adorable comments about their favourite star. “Dua mumma so gorgeous,” a person wrote. “OMG Deepika! You guys look amazing,” another comment read. “Lovely to see Deepika smiling and having fun with her childhood friends. Congratulations to the bride and groom,” a fan commented.

Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh also joined her for the pre-wedding ceremonies in New York. On Friday, DJ Mehul posted pictures of Deepika and Ranveer Singh from the wedding. The Dhurandhar star even praised him for the ‘banger set’ he played at the function.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in King. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller also stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat and Abhay Verma. It is set to hit theatres later this year. The actor also has Allu Arjun in Atlee’s untitled action film, and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part Two in her kitty.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh last featured in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. The actor is now looking forward to his next release, the sequel of Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar 2. It is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026.
