PUNE, Nov 2: The chances of PMT employees receiving ex-gratia dimmed further today with the civic administration remaining firm on its stand that no bonus would be distributed among the employees due to its precarious financial position.
PMT Kamgar Sangh, which called off its strike following assurance by political leaders that they would be given an ex-gratia of Rs 1800, was today eagerly waiting for some development. However, PMT employees were highly disappointed when they came to know that Balasaheb Shivarkar, who had taken initiative during the strike, had left for Mumbai early morning.
