MUMBAI, FEB 6: Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on Saturday said that Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s decision to travel to Pakistan on the inaugural run of the Delhi-Lahore bus will in no way help improve relations between the two countries.

"I do not think that such an exercise will help. If that is the route, then everyone would have travelled by bus to Lahore instead of holding secretary and ministerial level talks between the two countries," Thackeray told media persons after inaugurating the rotary conference of the century.

Thackeray said, how can one expect better ties between the two countries when Pakistan is openly supporting the Kashmir militants by observing a day’s bandh on Friday. Thackeray has been lambasting Pakistan for directly and indirectly supporting the activities of ISI and for aiding terrorists in several parts of the country.
