BANGALORE, November 7: The much-talked about reshuffle of the State Cabinet which was slated to be affected this month end, has been put out again by Chief Minister J H Patel.Speaking to media persons here on his return from Hampi, Patel stated that the Cabinet reshuffle had been put off till the end of the Winter session of Parliament. ``Serious political developments are likely to take place during the winter session. As our party is in power at the Centre, it is prudent to wait till the end of the session,'' he observed. Patel further added that his proposed three-nation tour has been put off in view of the sudden political developments at Delhi.Patel clarified that his decision to defer the reshuffle was not borne out of the reported dissatisfaction expressed over the performance of his government by the party legislators at a meeting held at the residence of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda. ``No much importance needs to be attached to the meeting. The legislators have met to sort out their own differences. It is a laudable step if their (dissident legislators) meeting helps in strengthening the party,'' he observed.Patel took pains to drive home the point that the legislators who attended the meeting were not dissidents.Replying to a query, Patel made it clear that the current political developments in the State posed no threat to his government. ``This is nothing but a figment of your imagination and the Press should be blamed for this,'' he remarked.
