Desertions not to hit Cong: Pawar

NEW DELHI: Desertions in the Congress would not have any adverse impact on the party8217;s prospects in the coming Lok Sabha election but would only improve its performance, senior Congress leader Sharad Pawar claimed today. 8220;If anybody is committed to the Congress party and its ideology do you think they will leave?8221; he asked

HAMIRPUR: The Himachal unit of the Congress suffered a setback today when its vice-president quit the party with 12 others to join the BJP. Senior vice-president Karam Singh, a former MLA, announced this decision at a BJP rally here.
