MUMBAI, JUNE 26: A 61-year old man, a Pakistani national, was found murdered in his flat at Andheri east in the north western suburbs of Mumbai on Friday evening.

Around 5 pm, when the housemaid came to the house for work, she found Mansoor Abdul Sattar Beg, a resident of Om Nagar Housing Society in Andheri, dead. Apparently, Beg was strangled to death and a stab injury was also found on his neck. The maid immediately informed the neighbours, who alerted the police.

According to the police, though Beg was a Pakistani national, he and his 17-year-old daughter, Natasha, have been living in the city for several years now. His wife had left him years ago and is currently based in Karachi. Natasha is studying at Sophiya College and lived with her uncle at Mahim.
