Paes in running for double title

Leander Paes has a shot at two titles at the US Open after he made the final of the men8217;s doubles event on Wednesday, partnering Lukas Dlouhy, a day after reaching the title round in the mixed doubles.

The Indo-Czech pair had a 6-2, 6-0 stroll over Argentines Maximo Gonzalez and Juan Monaco in the semi-final. American twins Bob and Mike Bryan will play Tommy Robredo and Sergio Roitman in the other semi-final.

On Tuesday, Paes, pairing with Cara Black of Zimbabwe, had entered the mixed doubles final, beating the Swede-Russian pair of Jonas Bjorkman and Nadia Petrova 6-4, 6-4. They will take on Jamie Murray and Liezel Huber for the title.
