MUMBAI, AUG 23: Ritwik Bhattacharya failed to clear the last hurdle between him and the boys8217; under-19 title and went down in straight games to Malaysia8217;s Mohammed Azlan in the final of the Hong Kong Junior Open Squash Championship.

Bhattacharya lost 6-9, 4-9, 4-9. India8217;s Gaurav Juneja got the better of Malaysia8217;s Kenny Ng 9-2, 9-0, 3-9, 9-0. Bikram Oberoi clinched the under-16 boys8217; crown by prevailing over his Indian compatriot Abhijit Kukreja 1-9, 9-4, 9-1, 9-3.

Results: Boys under-19: Final: Mohammed Azlan Mal b Ritwik Bhattacharya Ind 6-9, 4-9, 4-9. Third place: Shane Doherty Aus b Yan Ka Ho HK 9-2, 9-0, 3-9, 9-0.

Boys under 16: Final: Bikram Oberoi Ind b Abhijit Kukreja Ind 1-9, 9-4, 9-1, 9-3. 3rd place: W Hammond UAE beat Raul Singh India 9-3, 9-4, 9-0.

Plate: Kevin Ho Malaysia beat Vishal Kapoor India 9-0, 9-6, 9-0.

Boys under 13: Final: Choi Tung Yin HK b Siddharth Suchde Ind 9-0, 9-1,9-6.

3rd place: Chiu Ho Ming Hong Kong beat Mihir Seth India 9-5, 6-9, 9-6, 9-4.

Girls under 16: Final: Kylie Doherty Australia beat Pamela Lee Hong Kong 9-0, 9-1, 9-1.

3rd place: Teng Ooi Ean Malaysia beat Rhea Bhandare India 9-4, 9-1, 9-0.

Girls under 13: Saha Jasmina Malaysia beat Sally Looi Malaysia 9-3, 9-4, 10-9.

3rd place: Surpriya Balsekar India beat So Tsz Lui Hong Kong 9-7, 9-0, 9-0.
