Now, cricket takes off

Air-India has had cricket stars on its rolls for years, but it is only now that the airline has woken up to their brand value. To face the increasingly aggressive competition, the national carrier is going to ring in 2008 with a calendar featuring M S Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, R P Singh, Robin Uthappa and Irfan Pathan. So, despite the hectic cricket schedule, Air-India has written to the BCCI asking them to let the stars take some time off for the high-profile shoot.
