PUNE, Sept 11: Ganesh Pundalikrao Thakur will be the new commissioner of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). He will take charge on September 23.

Forty five-year-old Thakur, who currently is additional collector, Pune urban agglomeration, has been in the government service since 1979.
