NAGPUR, SEPT 6: A naxalite of the Tipagadh Dalam of People8217;s War Group was killed in an encounter with police in Gondri forest of Gadchiroli yesterday.

On receiving a tip-off, two police parties reached there. One of the teams spotted the Naxals in the deep forest. However, the ultras immediately opened fire, a report reaching here today said.

Police returned the fire, killing one Naxalite.
