Bhattacharya also said he did not find it wrong to establish friendship with industrialists and invite them to invest in the state. 8216;8216;I will have to make friends with industrialists as I want investment here. I cannot tell them to get out of the state because we are communists. We are not fools,8217;8217; Bhattacharya said.

He also criticised those who were opposed to the Salim Group investing in the state. 8216;8216;Those who are opposing the Salim group investing here are mad. Salim has come and at Uluberia work on their motorcycle factory is going on in fullswing. Only a mad person can say that investment from Indonesia cannot come here. There will be more investment from not only Indonesia but other countries,8217;8217; the chief minister said.

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee launched an agitation when Salim group chief Beni Santoso came here about six months back to sign the deal with the state government.
